Picture Of The Day (P.O.T.D) :

I chose these 2 pictures today because I think they are both cute and unique.  Two things I'm very fond of.  And what can I say, I just picked them? Must be some unknown power that persuaded me to choose these 2.  Eh, I don't know.  BUT I do know: WE HAVE A CHAT ROOM!  He-he-he!  Enjoy!  See you in the chatter room! ;)

Ahh, you know? The Usual.

Yesterday:

Brad was suppose to come over, so I got all ready and eveything expecting him to come over.  THEN, he called and said he couldn't. He had to stay late at work.  I was totally bombed, and I was all ready with no place to go too!  So, I printed out my resume and got my Dad to drive me into the golf course and hand it in.  This is where my brother is every single day, and he's become pretty famous there for his golf so I have a pretty good chance of getting hired.  My big cousin Melissa also works there and she has to go back to school soon so there will be an opening also, which is great.  But, if I don't hear any news within a week I'm going to start handing it in other places.  My next options are: The harmony (waitressing), or a clothing store of some kind.  I have alot of experience in the food industry though, so I have a better chance sticking with that, but a change would be awesome.

When I got home my Mom told me Brad called and he said he was on his way.  Apparently his "other boss" came in and told him he could go home, so now he was coming.  While I was in town handing in my resume I picked up a movie as well.  We had been talking about the movie constantine for the longest time so I decided not to get it after alot of debate. So, I got this japanese movie called premonition.  When Brad arrived, sure enough he had the movie Constantine in his hands.  Anyhoo, the movie was one of the best ones we have seen lately, atleast I thought so. It kept my attention the whole time, and since I'm really into all that make believe stuff I got into it! I loved the angel wings also, they are beautiful and anyone who like angels, or even anime angels, they will love this movie if not for the fantasy but for the wings!

After the movie we were both hungry (it was about 9.oopm) and we both hadn't ate supper.  So, after complaining that we had nothing to eat we decided on PB&J sandwhiches.  Surely enough though, in the middle of making them my Mom came home with bags full of groceries.  We still had the sandwhiches though.  After that we watched Will and Grace, and then Reba.  I love Reba!  All in all, it was a pretty "normal" day.

P.O.T.D

I chose this picture for the picture of the day today just because I think it is absolutely amazing the way the CG art was done.  Same with the other. The angel wings are actually like the angel wings in the movie Constantine.  I guess I'm just in an artsy kind of mood! Enjoy! :) And be sure to join the forum guys! :)

Yesterday:

Yesterday I stayed home all day working on My Space!! As you know, the forum is all up and running! It seems to be turning out great! Join now and meet new people and share your thoughts! :) I also added a huge amount of stuff to the site yesterday including pictures, music to the music player, new links and of course, the forum!

At night I saw Wedding Crashers with my friend Emily from Ottawa. Brad and his friend Tyler came as well. It was a hilarious movie! I really liked it. I recommend it for sure. Do keep in mind, it wasn't a deep movie or anything. It's just a laugher. There's a bit of nudity at the beginning too so I wouldn't recommend it for the kids. The whole movie is based around sex too.  In the movie theater there was a group of really young kids who were about 8 or 9 and I thought that was a terrible idea for them to be watching it. I don't know how they got in, but I guess it's nothing they havn’t seen before with our society today.

Today:

I replied to all of the boards on the forum and am in the middle of uploading new anime pictures. I can't wait to hear from new members on the forum, it seems to been looking great! I also have been downloading music, which is making updating my space incredibly hard with my internet connection. But hey, slow is better than nothing. I don't know what I will be doing for the rest of today since it is just 10:45am right now, but It will most likely be on the computer, and if you check my site out more than once a day you would know I tend to update you throughout the whole day. I guess it could be considered a bad habit. At least I'm attempting to make others happy! :)

Picture Of The Day

(P.O.T.D) :

I chose these 2 pictures because they are different from my regular anime collection and lately I have been feeling really different from the "norm" I usually am. Anyways, these 2 pictures are very adorable although they are better in there original state that is for sure, as is all my pictures that are uploaded but you get the idea of the kawaii factor at least! :) Enjoy and drop me a comment or 12! :)

Tra La La...

Uneventful Days

Today I woke up at about 9:30 and my 12 year old brother Kevin was home, which is different because he is always up everyday at 8:00 and at the golf course, but today he was on the computer. So, since I couldn't come online and work on my space I decided to call Brad because we were suppose to get together today. My brother and I ended up fighting while I was on the phone with Brad and Kevin actually left and rode his bike down to our cousins house to "play." Once he left and my plans were established with Brad I went online and uploaded some new anime pictures for you guys and while they were uploading I went outside for a bit in my new white bikini and sat under the sun for a few minutes. It's beautiful and you always get that happy fresh feeling every time you go outside with the sun, flowers, and grass! :) By this time it was about 2:00 and I was stuck with nothing much else to do. I was thinking about writing a blog entry for today but I decided it was a better idea to write one once I got home from Brads. So, I got dressed and everything else that goes along with it in preparation to go to Brads. It was now 3:00 and I had nothing left to do, so I killed time by watching the extras on the Chobits DVD's and flipping through the channels a bit. Finally it was 4:00 and my Dad took me over to Brads house which is only about a 7 minute drive from where I live.

Once at Brads we went on the computer and took a couple of the online tests that I have posted on my site. At around 5:30 Brad's Mom came home and we spent about 20minutes deciding what to eat for supper. We went from Chinese to Pizza to Italian and back again. The final decision was Spaghetti but we had to go into town to get the meat for it, so while she was in the grocery store Brad and I got a movie: Dark Water. Once back we watched some Spongebob and then ate dinner. His family is very cheerful and talkative, it was a very nice atmosphere. Although, I was kind of shy and didn't say much of anything. After dinner we watched Dark Water which wasn't exactly the greatest movie of all time. I found it to be kind of like The Grudge and a little bit like The Ring in this one part: A girl falls into a water tower. After the movie we had some time to kill so we put in the movie Shrek 2. His parents drove me home at 10:00 and I came home and booted up the computer to write a blog entry. So, here I am! :)

Picture Of The Day (P.O.T.D) :

I chose these 2 pictures as my pictures of the day because they have absolutely beautiful animals in them and at Brads house he has animals (Dog and a bird) and I'm not used to having animals around.  Enjoy! :)  And be sure to drop me a comment or 12! :P

Famille!

The Reunion!

Well, my family reunion was...good! In all it was better than other years, which was a pleasant surprise. I'm sure it would have been much better if Brad would have been able to tag along, as he seems to be an excuse to make things much more enjoyable! :) We arrived at Fanshaw Park at about 4:30 and I must have been at the trailer saying "hello’s" to my relatives for a total of 15 minutes before my brother came up to me and whispered, "Hey, wanna' go fishing?" It was an excuse to leave an awkward setting so I was all in! My brother and I were in the middle of unloading our bikes off the back of our Chevy when my cousin Colin, who’s only 2 weeks younger than me, came up to us and asked what we were doing. We said, "fishing" of course, and then he decided he would come along as well. BUT, he didn't have a bicycle, so me and Kevin had to ride as slow as we possible could all the way to the dam. It was a very long bike ride. Once we arrived there after much complaining out of Colin, although we did talk about school a little bit, we were acquainted with festive east Indian music. It was actually a very nice change. There was a large group of east Indians there and they were all fishing and having fun. I felt like such an intruder. Anyways, I dipped my feet in the water while my brother threw a total of 5 casts when he said "Let's just go, okay" He was now in a whiny mood. The heat, no fish, and Colin's slight tormenting made him sink down into his bitchy/whiny/angry state. Colin then rode off with *my* bike, and Kevin was left to carry the tackle box and fishing pole by himself, which made him even more angry. He then, once we arrived at the road, tore off full speed to the camper and I was left alone with Colin, who then gave me my bike back. I had to take the whole way back slow as I could go--again, all because Colin's to cool to bring a bike and it would have been rude to tear off like Kevin did.

Once back, we ate dinner, it was very large and very good as always. I had a bunch of little portions of different things like taco salad, turkey, deviled egg, and corn flake potatoes.

After dinner we started this golf game that my Aunt Patsy brought and it was the highlight of the night. I'm sure it was just brought for my brother - - the golfer, but the whole family ended up in a big competition for prizes. You have to chip the ball onto this target and the censors beep and score accordingly to the point you got on the target. There had to be about 10 experienced golfers in this competition and you know what? I GOT SECOND!!!!! I don't even play golf. I won this rubiks cube that makes a whole bunch of adorable pictures from the jungle book! I love it! So did my big cousin Sean, he was fascinated by it. Technically I would have won a package of some really good golf balls but because I don’t play golf and said I would swap it for the booby prize. My Grandma came in first which was a complete fluke because I was in first the whole time right up until the end. I had 50 points and then all of a sudden my Grandma who is about 200lbs overweight with health problems and a dislike of golf gets two 30's! She won a large box of Ferarro Roche’s. Of course that’s just what she needs, a large box of sugar and calories. Actually, I’m happy she won in a way. I mean, the competition was fun and all and it was crazy that I somehow managed to stay in first the whole time, but Grandma had a lot of fun and she rarely gets too. These get-together’s are all she has now with all her health problems and weight so she deserved to get first prize, even if it doesn’t help in her attempt to loose pounds for the knee surgery.

The game was a bowl of laughs, so after we had a tonne of delicious desserts to celebrate! Oh-my-goodness everything was so good. I tried to only eat a bit, but I just had to try a little bit of everything! My cousin Sean had SO MUCH to eat. I kept seeing him chowin’ down brownies so I asked him how many he had. I said, "that has to be your 4th one!" and he whispered back "8th" Hey, it’s a party. I think there was only 16 in total so that pig ate almost half the box, I did manage to get one though and it was like heaven! I also had a sliver of pumpkin pie which was the best pumpkin pie I have had so far. During this dessert time my Grandma came and sat down beside me with a huge plate of desserts. It was a meal in itself. She appeared to be on a diet during dinner which looked great to finally see her eating healthy but she apparently caved. I guess it’s to a point where she should enjoy what little time she has left rather than starving herself.

About an hour or so after dessert time people started to leave slowly. My aunt Kimmy and Uncle Jack got a motorcycle which was pretty unexpected! They don’t exactly look like the motorcycle type. They tore off down the road, leaving there kids with my Aunt Patsy and Uncle Andy. Not to long after they left as well. My cousin Melissa and her boyfriend Joe left during the golf game, and Joe was only there for about an hour because he’s busy with his job on the "New PL ," which now is becoming "A Channel." My family were the last ones to leave. We stayed and sat around the fire until about 10, and then my Grandma looked at my report card and we talked about schooling and things for a bit. We finally left around 10:30 but unfortunately I drank way to much flavored water and had to go to the bathroom when we were cruising down the highway. We had to stop at a truck stop, which was a joy. Actually, I never realized how fancy these truck stops are. Everything is so clean, big, sparkly and...clean. There wasn’t a single person in the truck stop but there was about 20 employees just standing around talking. I walked up to them but they didn’t see me, I waited for a bit expecting them to notice me and help me but they still didn’t. I then said "Excuse me" and one guy said "Oh, hi" while the others glared at me. I asked them where the washroom was and they pointed me in the direction. After I got out of the employee invested truck stop we were back on the road and on our way home. My brother fell asleep and my Mom shut her eyes. I was still wide awake as I am always while driving; there’s too much to see. The moon was fascinating last night by the way, it was glowing orange and it was huge. A beautiful, big, glowing, and rounded ending to the reunion you could say! :)

Picture(s) Of The Day (P.O.T.D):

I chose these 2 pictures for today becase it is symbolic to my day yesterday--Food!  The girly eating the goodies was me and all the other inudlges yesterday and the fridge is what my grandma's fridge looked like with all that food in it!  It was stuffed to capacity!  Anyways, enjoy the cute factor everyone and be sure to drop me a line or 12! Pixelart! ^__^

Reunion And Pixelart

Today I am going to a family reunion *sigh* It's my Dad's side and these ones are always awkard. All my older cousins bring there boyfriends or girlfriends. Colin is the only one my age and he likes to hang out with my younger brother. So, I'm left alone.  I wanted to bring Brad, but he had to work.  I guess I sit there, listening to the "adult conversations " wondering when we can go home so I can work on my Space he-he! :)

Anyways, I am adding a new pixelart album before I go so you have something new to look at! :)  Pixelart is made pixel by pixel and I got them off bibi.com and hompy.tomatoroom.com.  They are some of the most kawaii and amazing pixelart ever!  Check it out for yourself!

Picture Of The Day (P.O.T.D) :

I chose this picture because of my family reunion. All the people reuniting.  It looks like a big family get together. Although I doubt my family reunion will be this much fun, seeing to it that I am all alone there, but I will try my hardest to make the best of it! :)

Sending Love & Apologies

I just want to take this opputunity to say sorry to Bradley Demeyere!! (You know, the guy I'm seeing, I spoke of him before) Anyways, I was suppose to go over to his house today but wasn't feeling all that well or up to it!  He was ready and expecting me at his house at 10:30am and I feel so bad for bailing! He's one of the sweetest guys ever (and he knows it) and I'm so lucky to know him much less be around him! :)  Anyways,  I'm very sorry about today and I hope we can do something together very soon!  We still have yet to watch Dark Water, you know?! Speaking of that, I want to apologize for not making the time to watch that movie with you when you did have it. I guess we got occupied with Chobits, Booze, and Dinner lol.  That was 4$ wasted, I know.  I just wish you would have took the 10$ for my dinner at the Bunkhouse,  I would then feel alot less guilty! :/  Anyways, I hope you Brad, and everyone else have an awesome day, I truly wish you all do, because you deserve it! :)

Picture Of The Day: (P.O.T.D)

A Different Womens Body Image Comprehension

People who write about the media (which are considered the media as well) always say that the women’s image is distorted and unhealthy. I believe that to an extent. For example: I think the videos of rap stars treating girls like "ho's" and acting as if they are material objects is completely wrong. Yes 50 cent, I am talking about your videos. I also think it's wrong to have only "skinny" models, which used to be the norm a couple decades ago, but now it is changing for the better. But, I think seeing girls who are in great shape and who are thinner should not be portrayed as a bad thing. One could use images of healthier girls as an inspiration to be healthier themselves. If one feels the need to indulge in a chocolate bar or three, by looking at a picture of a skinny girl it is almost like a wake-up call: "Hello, Jessica Simpson didn't get that amazing body by eating chocolate bars!" I think media should actually stop complaining about women’s body image (excluding the women as material objects of course) and start using the healthy, skinny, great bodied women of this world as inspiration rather than examples of bad teen media. There are always going to be women with amazing bodies, so start using it to your advantage rather than an endless discussion on false body image. Got a craving for some greasy french fries? Take a glance at Jessica's Abdominal muscles!:)

New Kawaii Album!

I chose this summer-y badminton picture for today because outside the azure sky is bright and cloudless, and there is a light breeze swaying the leaves on our trees. The air is a perfect feel, not to sticky, not to dry, and it even smells like fresh cut grass. :) Enjoy!

Chobits, Grandma's House, & Sister/Brother Spaces

Chobits DVDS

Today I didn't get rudely awakened, but I did wake up early which is actually nice.  More time to talk to you guys and add new and exciting things to my space! :) I think I just got up earlier today (at 8:30) because of getting up so early yesterday.

Anyways,  speaking of yesterday, I got my Chobits box set from eBay (episodes 1-27 on 3 dvds)! Yaaaaay!! *celebrates!*   So,  Brad came over yesterday in celebration, of course earlier than expected and my bedroom was a mess and so was my hair but I have learned now to prepare as soon as I get up because that boy will come over whenever the darn well he pleases, without warning too.  We started watching my new Chobits box set at about 5:00 and about 2 hours in it just stops. I panic and we take it out and clean it and try it again. Still no luck.  So we did it again.  Then my Mom calls us for supper.  We ate (Spaghetti, Beans, Salad if your wondering) .  After that I decided we take it downstairs and try it on the DVD player down there. My Dad fiddled with it but still no luck. So, I was jipped episodes 6-9!!!!!!  I don't want to watch all the others if I'm going to miss those key episodes.  (I started the second DVD anyways, heh, I couldn't resist) but really, what should I do to get those episodes which are rightfully mine? I paid for episodes 1-27, and I want them damn it!   The eBay seller will be getting negative feedback of course, but before I do that I want to see if she will send me a new first chobits DVD. Probably not, thats money out of her pocket for shipping and for the DVD then. Besides, I hate asking for things.  But, Chobits! I paid for them!  ...And I love Chobits!  I'll do it! I'll just come right out and ask for the first DVD!  :)

My Grandmas House

I decided to get my butt up off this wooden lightly cushioned solid chair and go for a bike ride to my Grandmas house.  Thats roughly 4 miles.  When I got there my little gymnist  cousin Ally was over at her house and they were about to leave to go to the Delhi Public Library.  So, as hot and sticky as I was from the bike ride, I went with them.   We first had to pick up Ally's other siblings though:  A stubborn 3 year old Kaitlyn, and a chubby 12 year old Philip.  We were at the library for some time because Ally is part of this book club and she has to read 10 books by the end of summer.  Now, shes 8 so she only has to read childrens books yet.  Unfortunatly Ally picked books that were to hard for her and the lady there had to ask her questions about the book. She was really struggling. I knew she didn't read the whole book.  I felt terrible for her.  After that I helped Ally pick out her books because the ones she was looking at were much to hard.  Meanwhile Kaitlyn was taking out picture books and whining that she "wants them" the redistributing them around the library.  We finally got out of there after a washroom break, in which I had to go into the bathroom with  Kaitlyn  while she did her business.  I thought she was a little old for that, but her whining is quite persistant.  Immediatly after we went to my great Grandmothers house.  She's 94 and still lives in her own house which is great, but she just recently got out of the hospital because she fell and broke her leg.  She looks much better now though! :) Right across from my great Grandmothers house is a play park and I took the little muchkins over there to play. We must have been there for a total of 20 minutes. We watched Ally do her gymnastics most of the time.  After we said our goodbyes to Grandmas Winne and drank some blue gaterade we went and got icecream at the Dairy Freeze. Yes, the Dairy Freeze my old work, in which I just got unfairly dismissed from. (see very first post in blog) That was a joy.  The icecream was good but the messes the kids made was not.  Then, after a nice little tantrum from Kaitlyns desire to leave we went home.  I stayed at my Grandmas for a bit and ate some of the most amazing cherries I have ever had.  I also showed her my reprot card.  We ended up on the topic of tobacco and I told her some of the facts listed in the blog entry before this. She didn't believe any of them.  Where I'm from everyone is farmers so you have to be very careful what you say so I thought facts, rather than opinions would be wise.  All she said was "Oh I don't believe that"  Each one is true and obtained from stupid.ca and one or two are from my health class.  See blog below, it's actually quite fascinating. I wish I could get my Grandma to believe it though, she hates computers and wouldn't ever believe a thing that is displayed on a computer screen.  At about 4:30 I was on my way home again, on my bike.  The seat is so darn uncomfertable though, It is hard as a rock and it made the 4 mile long trip nearly unbearable.  And I was going uphill most of the way and against the wind. But hey, it's exercise.  So, now im home and tired and surprising not all that hungry which is good because I don't want to totally cancel out at that hard earned exercise from today!  :)

Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

I put my name on a waiting list for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood prince at The Delhi Public Library.  They only have 2 books and I'm number 50 on it! She said I should have it in about 2 months, maybe less.  In the meantime, I heard from my cousin Ally that Blayne (he's rather spoiled) got the book when it first came out.  I plan to look into this.  Read fast Blayne!

Brother And Sister Spaces

I am looking for brother and sister spaces.  If you are unaware of what a brother or sister space is it's just a space that is similar to yours and you put eachothers links in your brother or sister spot on your site and you can thereby call the other a sister site or a brother site!  It is also a great way to increase traffic to your space! :)

Qualifications for my brother or sister space:

*** Space must be relatively developed, no brand new spaces and no spaces that don't update regularily.

*** A Space involving anime in one way or another would be very nice, but this is quite flexable  based on the quality of your content! :)

***Once picked you must place my link on your site under "Sister Or Brother Spaces" and you must stay intouch via e-mail, msn messenger, comments, or guestbook.  And I will do the same! :)

Updates: I added 40 new Anime pictures into the Anime Gallery!

Smoking :S

Smoking                 (I realize it's controversial)

My Opinion

If you smoke (without so much as trying to quit), you automatically lose a portion of my respect.  Smoking shows stupidty (failure to know facts about smoking, yes I realize you probably know most facts, but if it doesn't click in, either by not knowing enough of the hard cold facts or just because you don't realize or think it could happen to you so much that you don't try and quit at all. ), laziness (If your not atleast trying to quit, words cannot explain how stupid that is.  You are killing yourself, and encouraging others to do the same through indirect pressure.  AND second hand smoke-please only smoke in smoking designated areas if you do, and smoke alone for the sake of others lives.) You also smell very repulsive.   I do realize that smoking is one of the hardest habits to drop, and I have seen people trying to quit and saw how terrible the cravings are and how just smelling it or looking at it on T.V makes there head spin for it. But they get through and they live and there an inspiration to others, not to mention they are that much more healthier, attractive, and cancer-free! A cigarette is a deadly drug. People who grow are drug growers, people who sell are drug dealers, people who smoke are drug users, people who are addicted are drug abusers. Smoking is one of the leading causes of deaths in the world and it’s something that can be entirely prevented. If it was illegal and completely wiped out hundreds, even millions in the long run would be saved. Is this just the governments way of dealing with the over population? If so, there murderers.

 Facts:

--47,000 Canadians die each year prematurely due to smoking-related illness—more than alcohol, traffic accidents, AIDS and homicides combined.- It is the single biggest cause of preventable death in Canada.

--Nicotine addiction is similar to cocaine or heroin addiction

--Tobacco is the only commercial product on the market that is legal, but can kill you when intended.

--Many smokers want to quite, or have tried quitting. Makes you wonder why they started in the first place, huh? Let's change that from now on.

--Smoking clogs arteries and veins, cuts off oxygen supply, and can cause gangrene, impotence, and heartattacks or strokes.

--Filters do not make the cigarette safe. In fact, they were originally developed to stop the tobacco from sticking to the smokers lips.

-- Herbal cigarettes may not contain tobacco, but they do contain many of the same deadly chemicals. We don't know who they think there fooling, but they are not a safe alternative to tobacco cigarettes.

--You don't have to be a smoker to inhale the chemicals in a cigarette. You just have to be close enough to inhale the lit end of the cigarette

--There are about 4,000 different chemicals in cigarettes and at least 50 of them can give you cancer.

--200 young people become smokers everyday.
